Dr. Sara D'Argenio

Dr. Sara D'Argenio was born in Montreal, Canada. Growing up, pets were always a part of the family household and Dr. D'Argenio would form strong attachments with each dog, cat, rat or frog she owned. Her passion to care for animals was evident from a very young age and only continued to grow throughout the years.

Dr. D'Argenio completed a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Biology at McGill University. During her studies, she worked at an animal clinic where she gained great knowledge and experience while assisting veterinarians and technicians in the emergency unit.

She decided to continue her education by attending three years at St-George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. After having competed one year at Cornell University in New York and having conducted clinical rotations, Dr. D'Argenio successfully earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with summa cum laude honors.

Shortly after completing her veterinary degree, she moved to Florida and now works at Sky Lake Animal Hospital where she gets to do what she loves most, helping and caring for animals.

Dr. D'Argenio enjoys traveling, cooking and trying new foods. She is trilingual in English, French and Italian, and is excited to start learning Spanish as well.
