Jennifer Bibevski, DVM, DACVS
Veterinarian
An Ohio native, Dr. Jennifer Bibevski graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She went on to complete a medical internship at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Ohio before pursuing four years of advanced training in small animal surgery, covering soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurological procedures.
Now a board-certified veterinary surgeon and diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgery (ACVS), Dr. Bibevski brings the highest level of surgical expertise to her patients. Her clinical interests include critical care medicine in surgical patients and minimally invasive techniques such as arthroscopy and laparoscopy. Her training has even extended into human medicine, where she gained additional experience in intensive care units and advanced laparoscopy labs, knowledge she now applies to complex veterinary cases.
Dr. Bibevski’s career has taken her around the world, with experience in veterinary education and practice across the U.S., Europe, and Australia. In addition to her work with small animals, she volunteers as a surgeon for several South Florida zoos and consults on anesthesia and surgery for exotic species. She is also actively involved in cardiac surgery research for animals.
Passionate about giving back, Dr. Bibevski founded a charity in Bitola, Macedonia, dedicated to fostering sustainable relationships between humans, animals, and the environment. The organization provides spay/neuter programs, veterinary care for stray and underserved animals, and initiatives to reintroduce dog parks in densely populated cities.
Clients often describe Dr. Bibevski as not only a skilled surgeon but also a caring and thoughtful partner in their pet’s health. She takes pride in offering honest recommendations based on what is truly best for each animal, whether or not that means surgery.
When she’s not in the operating room, Dr. Bibevski enjoys reading, playing piano, and relaxing at the beach. She also loves spending time with her two horses, Pace and Moose, and her rescued German shepherd, Ty.
